#15 Forgiveness Defined

Very often we think that our forgiving someone else for what they’ve done to us is some great gift to them, but it’s really about us. Forgiveness is about freeing ourselves from the time, emotion, and energy-draining exercise of retribution, resentment and hurt. A far better use of our time would be spent focusing instead on embracing the hope, joy, and the gratitude that comes from being forgiven. Understand the difference between peace(outer calm) and tranquility(inner calm).
